Brew Some Fun – Tea and Coffee drinkers – I have you covered. On Thursday afternoon I decided that we needed to stop for a cuppa. The Brew Some Fun stamp set is perfect for this as it covers both Tea and Coffee Drinkers. So, armed with the stamp set and a small selection of supplies, I went LIVE on YouTube.
My first card used shades of Green/Aqua with Just Jade, Soft Succulent and Mint Macaron. The tea cup and sentiment were both stamped in Soft Suede for a slightly softer look than black. Once Classic Ink is fully dry, it works perfectly with Stampin’ Blends, so I used the Mint Macaron Combo for the cup and Dark Just Jade for the tea bag.
Because I had not read the catalogue properly, I had missed that the Warm Wrap Dies work with the Brew Some Fun stamp set, so die cut the sentiment with a Layering Circle. Fortunately my lovely viewers pointed out my error, so die cutting the cup was easy.
Before adding the Soft Succulent layer to the White layer, I added a piece of Just Jade Gingham Ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Combo pack. The whole piece was then added to a Just Jade card base. The finishing touches were to stamp some of the spoons as a border at the bottom of the inside layer in Sahara Sand, then a few InColor Jewels to the front.
Now time for the Coffee drinkers and a soft, neutral card wit just a hint of Mint Macaron.
This time I stamped the spoons in 2nd generation Crumb Cake and the sentiment in full strength Crumb Cake. I added some Linen Thread over the spoons and tied it in a floppy bow.
The carry out cup is coloured in Crumb Cake, Smokey Slate and Dark Mint Macaron. This time I didn’t add any stamping to the inside, but I can always add something later, once I know who the card is going to be sent to.
