YouTube Live Crafting REPLAY with Liz – Sweet Farewell. On Tuesday I decided to play with the Sweet Farewell Stamp Set and use it with the SOON TO GO Snail Mail Designer Series Paper. There are some images in the paper that work perfectly with the Sweet Farewell Stamp Set. BUT although the first 2 cards went well, the third one was a bit of a nightmare. If you like to watch crafting going wrong, you will enjoy the Video!
My first card uses the same dies that I used for the Sweet As A Peach project earlier this week; Painted Labels and Layering Circles Dies. I coloured the Camera image with Real Red, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends. Really quick and really easy. A few Resin Hearts , some layering, a camera stamped on the edge of the inside and the card was done. REALLY Quick and Easy!
My second card also went well. I coloured the paper plane with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, including tracing the dotted line. This was die cut using the Scalloped Contour dies The sentiment is in Real Red Ink, mounted onto Real Red card. Another quick and easy card. But then I started on the third card and things stopped running so smoothly!
I had pre-cut some masks for the little sail boat and managed to layer three images nicely, until I smudged the last one REALLY badly. That went in the bin and I repeated the process. Clearly learning from my mistakes was not on the agenda, I smudged the images AGAIN, but kept going. I used the scalloped die to cut waves from some Pool Party card and layered this over the White card with the boast BEFORE I coloured the boats. Seriously, this is such a rooky error. But eventually, I managed to bring everything back from the brink, just!
