#SimpleStamping with Flowers of Friendship. On Saturday I held my usual #SimpleStamping Saturday using the Flowers of Friendship stamp set. This is in the New Annual Catalogue and available to order NOW! If you are in the UK, would like a FREE copy and intend to order from me, please hop over to my Catalogue page and complete the request form.
I decided to use the new InColors for this card, they work so well together that it is a bit of an obvious choice, but why not on a Saturday.
#SimpleStamping Version
I always start my 3 projects with one using a Notecard and Envelope, this week I am using a Basic White card. For a change I stamped in Evening Evergreen and made sure it was fully dry, before colouring with the InColor Stampin’ Write Markers. I selected Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. The sentiment is also in Evening Evergreen. I stamped the row of small flowers on the front of the envelope and coloured those with Polished Pink too.
Stepped Up Version
For my first stepped up version I introduced some Evening Evergreen Card and the InColor Designer Series Paper. The stamping is exactly as before, but this time on a separate piece of Basic White Card, layered onto Evening Evergreen. This time the colouring used Stampin’ Blends. I used almost exactly the same colours I used in my previous version, but replaced the Evening Evergreen with both shades of Soft Succulent. To make it stand out a little more, I matted the sentiment on some Evening Evergreen card The Designer Series Paper layer is in Soft Succulent.
Final Stepped Up Version
My final version introduces a lot more of the new InColors, all of them in fact! I started by using one of the amazing Blender Brushes to add some Evening Evergreen to a piece of Basic White card. I layered this on some Evening Evergreen card before adding the fussy cut image. To build the background I added stripes of each of the InColors diagonally on the Basic White card base. A fussy cut sentiment, Evening Evergreen stamped on Soft Succulent, some of the new InColor Jewels and the card was finished.
