YouTube Live REPLAY Bouquet of Hope – Paper Pumpkin Kit. On Thursday I opened my Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Kit for the first time. This was the February Subscription Box for those in North America, who get Paper Pumpkin every month. In the rest of the Stampin’ Up! world, we only get a few Paper Pumpkin Kits each year, this is one of those. Launched outside North America on 13th April. It is ‘advertised’ as a Sympathy set, but I really don’t see it that way. I see it as a kit full of rich colours that can be used for any occasion, this works especially well if you use a different sentiment set, although I think some of the sentiments do actually work well for all occasions.
These Kits are always great fun to put together and, now that in most of the UK we can start to meet up with friends and family outside, are perfect to make with a small group. You would need to make sure you wiped blocks and ink pads as you pass them around, but it would be a perfect activity over a cup of coffee. For my first card, I substituted a sentiment from Hydrangea Haven and flipped the die cut so the black border was underneath.
The Rococo Rose card is perfect as it stands. If you are still unable to meet up with friends or family, then this would be a perfect card to send them instead. What a wonderful card to get in the post. We get enough mail that we really don’t want, but I love getting a card from someone, almost more so if there is no specific reason!
This last card is exactly the same as the kit instructions, other than flipping the sentiment die cut so the black border is not showing. I actually think it would look fine with the black border, but I thought it was worth a try. You can now see what it looks like as intended and flipped over.
Of course the supply list for today is going to be VERY short. All I added was a full size Ink Pad and a different sentiment, so that, and the Kit, will be the only supplies! In a few days I will be sharing some alternative projects with you using, mostly, the supplies in this kit. I will also look at introducing the Flower and Field Sale-a-Bration paper. Stampin’ Up! say that this kit coordinates, so let’s see! If you want the Paper Pumpkin Kit, the link to the English Version the image below:
