Well Suited Easel Card for Our Team Challenge. Yesterday evening was our Team Meeting. We have always held these online as most of my Team are not that local (including parts of Europe), so Zoom has been our friend for a while. I like there to be a Crafting focus to these meetings so that it is inclusive for all Team Members, whether they are looking to run a business or simply enjoy the Discount.
This month I set a Mystery Stamping Challenge for them. All I gave them was a list of elements that MUST be included, and left the specifics up to them. Their cards had to include a coloured card base, at least 2 layers of Designer Series Paper, Ribbon, a label for a sentiment, an adhesive embellishment, and something on the inside of the card (in addition to any sentiment they wanted to include). Their projects were all AMAZING. We are so lucky that so many of the Team are really talented crafters, but the most important thing was that they all had such fun making their cards AND were REALLY supportive of each other’s projects.
Not everyone took part, which, as the challenge was optional, was fine. A couple have struggled recently with their Crafting Mojo, but said that seeing the other’s projects has inspired them get back crafting again. I am so lucky that I have such a supportive Team. Distance between them is not an issue and they are so happy to help each other, which, surely, is what it is all about! If you want to know more about being part of my Team, please get in touch.
Of course, I had to have a go too, so pulled out the items from the Well Suited Suite, which I am using for my next Card Class in the Mail. Although this card will not be one of the ones in the class, there is one that is quite similar. It has been a while since I have shown any Fancy Folds, so I thought it was about time.
Easel Cards are probably one of the best Fancy Folds for beginners, so I do like to showcase these occasionally. This design is also really easy to write instructions for, whether you are using International A4 or North American Letter size card. You may be wondering where the ribbon and the inside element are. Well, I have used the ribbon for a pocket handkerchief (this is the white ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Suite) and you may just be able to see a piece of the paper running across the inside of the card.
Buy One Get One Free

Hi Liz, WOW ! I absolutely love your card. I like men’s suit cards (although I haven’t made any yet ) and easel cards (made a couple) so what could be better than your design? Will there be a tutorial or written dimensions for it please? Cheers and thankyou, Marilyn.
Hi Marilyn, I am so happy you like the card. I am not planning a tutorial, but the Dimensions are on the post, right at the bottom. They are very ‘loose’ so they work with any size card. Liz x
Thankyou Liz xx
