Facebook Live Replay with Darling Donkeys. Did you join me on my Facebook Live? We were playing with the Darling Donkeys FREE Sale-a-Bration Stamp set before it disappears. On the same basis, I used the paper from the Berry Blessings Stamp Set and Paper Sale-a-Bration Bundle. You can, obviously, substitute any paper you have in your stash.
I made three cards, using card stock that matches the papers I chose. All the colours are in the Brights Colour Family, so, rather than buying a full pack of each of the colours, you can just get the mixed pack.
The cards all have very simple colouring using Tuxedo Black ink and Stampin’ Blends. I used the Crumb Cake Combo for the Donkeys and only needed the Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green Blends for the Donkey with the rose in his teeth. You could do much more detailed colouring if you wanted, but sometimes, less is more.
The Designer Series Paper is not cut to specific sizes, I simply cut it, and the White Card, to the sizes I needed for the space available. With this in mind, I am not providing dimensions for these projects.
Each of the cards have a Linen Thread Bow somewhere. Some of them are single strands, but there is one double strand bow too. This gives more of a statement and is simple to achieve, simply by doubling up the thread and tying it as one length.
Other than the bows, the embellishments are pretty subtle. Red Resin Hearts for the Pacific Point card and Opal Rounds for the Granny Apple Green one.
So, which one are you going to make first? Of course unless you have the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set, you are going to struggle. There is still time to place a qualifying order. The donkeys are only a Level 1 Sale-a-Bration item, so a £45 order is all you need. If you place the order in my Online Store, and use the Host Code, you will also qualify for my February Ordering Special AND, whether you use the Host Code or not, you will also qualify for my Buy One Get One FREE!!
