Fine Art Floral and Golden Garden Cards on YouTube Live. I had a great time on my afternoon YouTube Live yesterday. I was playing with the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper and the Golden Garden Cards Specialty Acetate. These are made to work together, and one of the acetate sheets can be overlaid on one of the patterns of the paper. I went through this at the start of my video.

The aim of the video was to show that the Fine Art Floral Suite should not be seen as only for use for more feminine projects, my first one would be perfect for any adult. Of course the real challenge with acetate is how to attach it to a card.

This card hides the adhesive behind the strip of Fine Art Ribbon and one of the Gilded Gems. To save as much of my Gold Foil as possible, I ‘gutted’ the card before using it, this gives me the centre piece to use on another project. I hope you agree that the result is an extra special card for an extra special person.

My second card uses the acetate that overlays one of the patterns in the paper. As I wanted this card to have a more feminine feel to it, so I chose Flirty Flamingo as my featured colour. All the card needed, other than the Paper and Acetate, was a sentiment. I decided to stamp this straight on the Patterned Paper, and nestle it among the flowers.

Of course, not adding the sentiment as a standalone piece meant that I had to find a way to hide the adhesive. The Playing With Patterns Resin Dots came to the rescue. Three areas of these were perfect for hiding mini glue dots. Quick and Easy, my kind of card!
