Santa and Elf Gift Boxes for The Spot Challenge #141 – Last Minute Gift Ideas. We have all been there. We think we are organised to the point of perfection and then someone drops a present round to you that you weren’t expecting. What do you do? Well, after the panic has subsided, you deal with it. Now there is, of course, the challenge that you don’t now what they gave you, after all, no one opens a present until Christmas Day (or maybe Christmas Eve). So you are going to have to just have a guess.

I have a really quick gift box for you that would be perfect for a small gift, be it chocolate (as I have used), jewellery or any other small item. If you know they are crafty people, then you could buy them one of my Gift Vouchers (see more on that in a bit).

I have used the Red & Green Foil, but you could also use standard card stock. I happened to have some of the Black Foil we use to have, so used that too, as well as Gold and Silver Foil, but again, you can substitute anything you have in your stash. The box is the Mini Curvy Keepsake Die, so really easy to run through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. The Belt and Buckle are from the All Dressed Up Dies, simply trimmed to size and adhered to the sides of the box.

I decided to add tags, also in the Mini Curvy Keepsake Die set, using the Playful Pets Trim Combo, they both work really well with the foils I have chosen. Of course you can opt to use other twine or ribbon, after all, this is a last minute gift idea and it is too late to order new items for Christmas crafting now.
