How to Make a Tiny Coming Home Box for Two Ferrero Rocher. Last Thursday afternoon I received a call from one of the Production Team at BBC Radio Oxford. Time was I would receive these calls every few weeks as I was part of the Team who did the Sunday Paper Reviews. These have now stopped, and so have the number of calls, so it was a bit of a surprise.
The producer wanted to ask if I was available for a short telephone interview the following morning. The programme was looking at ways to save money over Christmas. Now we all know that Stamping is addictive and that you can never have enough stamp sets, but I managed to not share that confession and agreed to take part.
One of the ideas I came up with was to split a box of wrapped chocolates into smaller handmade boxes. A few really nice chocolates in a cute handmade box can be very well received, so I am told (I can’t eat chocolate, so I wouldn’t really know!). And as luck would have it, the largest of the Coming Home house dies is just the right size for two Ferrero Rocher, and the Tall House is perfect for one. Queue a hand made gift box! The dimensions are further down the page, and how I constructed the basic box is shown in the Video Tutorial. I have included a link to the 10 minute interview I gave on the Radio too, just in case you want to hear it.
