Press On Coffee Love. Do you ever get a very firm idea of how you would like a project to turn out, but it never seems to end up quite how you expected? I get this often, and generally even if the result is not what I was looking for, it ends up as a happy accident that I am comfortable sharing. But every now and again, things just fall into place. Today’s project is one of those. This is EXACTLY what I was aiming for, for once!
If you have followed me for any time at all you will know that I LOVE coffee. And I really mean that, over the years I have become a real Coffee Snob, and I have no problem with that, after all, there are worse things to be. Quite some years ago I found an amazing small Roastery that sends Premium Coffee through the post, Pact Coffee. I am one of the Founder Members, so I am guessing I have used them since 2012 and probably came across them when I was off work going through Breast Cancer Treatment.
The project is a simple, no fuss design, all in the one corner of the card. A simple die cut from the North Pole Die set and then the line of coffee cups, stamped in Crumb Cake and coloured in the Light versions of So Saffron, Pool Party (actually I used the Dark too!) and Calypso Coral. I love how these pale shades work so well with Crumb Cake and Whisper White. I picked out the middle line of each lid with the Light Smoky Slate Blend just to add a little dimension.
Adding the script ‘Coffee’ in Pool Party helps to ‘ground’ the cluster of cups and adding the three Petal Pink Elegant Faceted Gems helps to draw the eye in. Having all the cups on the same level would be flat in more ways than one, so I decided that this card was going to have to be sent to someone who would really appreciate it, so added a couple of the cups with Mini Dimensionals. Why does that mean it is for someone who will really appreciate it? Because I just put the postage rate up from a standard letter to a Large Letter size, OOPS!
So, that is my project, but if you want to try Pact Coffee, and are in the UK, this is the link you should use: LIZ-TZ05TW This will give you £5 off your first order, so is a great offer. If you then decide to sign up for a subscription, I will receive £5 off my next order. But I am only sharing this because I want you to experience amazing coffee. Why not treat yourself to some amazing coffee for Christmas, you are worth it after all!
