How to Make a Hand Sanitiser Gift Pack. Today sees the start of a series of projects for a Homemade Christmas. The current situation is a perfect time to turn the clocks back to the days when we would buy less and make more. I am on a mission to help you make this Christmas one to remember of all the RIGHT reasons. Yes, we may not be able to gather with as many of our friends and family as in recent years, but we can still let them know how much we love them with some small acts of kindness. With that in mind, I am going to bring you some small gift ideas. Projects that you can make at home with love as the main ingredient.
The first of these projects is a small gift holder that the perfect way to gift a small Hand Sanitiser. The pack that I have designed this for is the PocketBac 1 fl oz/29ml size. Although I bought mine a couple of years ago in the States, these are available in the UK, even from my local Garden Centre. The colours of paper and ink I am using has been guided by the ‘flavour’ of the ones I bought, but you could simply use your favourite Designer Series Paper as the colour guide.
Gilded Autumn Version
One of the best things about this version of an old favourite is that it uses the smallest amount of card and paper. Rather than making the box from one piece of card, which would leave a lot of waste, this uses just two narrow strips of card, with no waste! With this in mind, my first version uses the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper as the basis for the colour scheme. To set this stunning paper of I selected Early Espresso for the Box.
I wrapped some of the Gold Twine from the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack and tied an Acorn Trinket into the bow. The sentiment for this version comes from the Press On Stamp Set, and it is perfect for a little pick-me-up for a friend. So, this little gift pack doesn’t have to wait until Christmas, so why not make some now and drop them off to your neighbours (making sure you follow the current Coronavirus rules in your area). I used the Label Me Fancy Punch for the sentiment, but trimmed the edges off so the sentiment fitted snuggly.
Heartwarming Hugs Version
My Christmas version is in Real Red, which is the perfect match for the second PocketBac I have. I have teamed this with the Heartwarming Hugs Paper and the Gift Wrapped Stamp and Punch Bundle (remember you save 10% on both parts of the Bundle if you use the Bundle Item Number).
The tone on tone gift bow has had Clear Wink of Stella added for a subtle little sparkle, which is always a good thing. The sentiment is stamped in Real Red and then I used the same Label Me Fancy Punch as I used for the first version, but this time, rather than just trimming the edges, I made the punched card smaller simply by re-punching (watch the video to see how).
