News About Me!
Let me start by saying this is not bad news in any way, it is simply news.
As we start October, we also start a new Stampin’ Up! Year, which is always a great time to reflect on the previous twelve months and set goals for the coming ones.
As we all know too well, the early part of 2020 was a very uncertain time as we came to terms with a new ‘normal’. I was really quite concerned about the impact that was having on my business, and February certainly suggested that matters were pretty dire. But as we all became a little more accustomed to the new times, things picked up and have continued to do so.
I have made a few changes to my business in order to take the changes into account. The first change I made was to transition my regular Coffee & Card Face to Face events to Facebook. Every Tuesday morning at 11am, you can find me on my Facebook Business Page sharing a few projects and catching up with some of the regular attendees. It is wonderful that I am joined by so many of you and that you are joining from all around the world.
The more recent change that I have made is to introduce an updated version of Creativity in a Box. I have released 2 of these so far and am thrilled to see people taking advantage of these Class Kits of happiness. For those of you who have yet to try one of these, let me give you a brief overview of what they are. Each month I design about 6 projects that are centred around one pack of Designer Series Paper, one Stamp Set or Bundle and a selection of co-ordinating products. I give you three options for the Class Kits. You can simply purchase the Class Kit, which is the main consumables and the card kits, including any die cut or punched pieces, that generally comes in at about £25 plus Postage and Packing. You can opt to include the Stamp Set, which means you will get the Class Kit at a Discounted Price, or you can include the full Bundle, which will see an even greater saving in the Class Kit.
As you can imagine, getting everything ready for these Class Kits takes time, especially if you are like me and have VERY high standards when it comes to packaging everything up. I always make sure that the individual Project Kits are in a separate envelope and that all the supplies are packaged and labelled. Each Class Kit is wrapped in tissue paper, and includes a little gift as well as a sneak peek of one of the projects from the next Class Kit. The Class Kits are sent in Letter Box friendly boxes, which will have the name of the Kit on the reverse so you can store everything in the box so it is all together for when you want to get started. The Tutorials are emailed, with links to the Video Tutorials included in that document. The email is generally sent a couple of days after the parcels are posted, so they arrive at about the same time.
I am loving doing these boxes, but I need to find the time to put them together. So, from today onwards I will be cutting down on the number of YouTube Videos I am making. I am not totally sure how many I will be able to do each week, but I think it is probable that I will have my Facebook Live Replay, plus 2 new YouTube videos each week. If I can manage more, then I will, but I wanted you to know that I have made this decision. I do enjoy bringing you these videos, but each one takes a considerable amount of time, even allowing for the fact that I don’t edit them!
So there you have it! A few minor changes as we start the new Stampin’ Up! year. As ever, if you have any questions, I am always thrilled to hear from you, so please be in touch.
