Hello Gilded Autumn with Playful Alphabet. Today’s project has no stamping on it at all. Seriously, not one tiny stamped element. Instead of stamping, today I have finally pulled out my Playful Alphabet dies and put them to work. These dies are amazing in so many ways, but let’s start with the size, which works well for both cards as well as Scrapbooks. Just take a look at this card, are those letters not the perfect size?
If you shopped with me in August you should, by now, have received your Customer Thank You pack. I send these to everyone who orders through my online store. Everyone gets a handmade card and a ‘bit of nonsense’ gift. If you use the Host Code when you order, you also get some Product from me, as a gift from me to you. Use the Host Code AND spend at least £30 before P&P and you will earn Sunflower Reward Vouchers too, one voucher for every £30 in any one order. Collect 10 vouchers and you can exchange them for up to £30 of Product from any of the current catalogues.
Back to the project. Did you know that our dies will not only cut the Festive Felt, they also cut the Foam Adhesive Sheets, they even cut the Festive Felt attached to a Foam Adhesive Sheet!! I know, amazing. So that is exactly what I have used today. It is so quick and easy to die cut the letters, I didn’t even need to run the cutting machine twice so you could die cut both Ls. There are duplicates of ALL the vowels and many of the popular letters. There are numbers and punctuation included too, not only English punctuation either, there are some extras of those too.
Just look at the dimension you get using the felt and the foam sheets!! I hope you agree that it adds something extra to the cards. The sheets are 6 x 12″, so will last a long time. The pack includes a sheet each of White, Real Red, Early Espresso and Just Jade, and the colour matching is AMAZING! Why would I think it was anything but amazing??
I finished off the card with some of the Clear Wonderful Gems, I think they are the perfect addition and hope you do too. But, I have one confession to make, and this is serious. When I made my prototype card I cut my Designer Series Paper too small top to bottom. That would have been bad enough, but I did it for the second card too, but no matter, the Mint Macaron card strip covers the issue nicely, just don’t tell anyone!!!
