New InColor Ink and Blend Colour Comparisons. If you joined me on my Facebook Live on Tuesday or the Replay yesterday, you will have seen me do a quick colour comparison with the new InColor Ink Pads and Blends. Originally I was going to roll it all in with that, but I actually think it is worthy of a stand alone post, so here it is.
I have used one of the stamps from the Massive Thanks Stamp set as I wanted something reasonably ‘solid’ so there was a good amount of ink to compare. I hope this is helpful to you all. It is not always easy to appreciate the subtle differences between colour in a photo, but I think the video will help with this. Looking at the piece of card I used, I can see that all of the colours are unique, even Bumblebee and Crushed Curry, which are probably the closest in colour, are definitely different.
I don’t have the Blends for Cinnamon Cider yet (I missed it off my order!!), so will do a comparison for those when I have them to hand. Looking at the other three (there is no Combo for Bumblebee) they are, again, quite different. Shaded Spruce Light, which I used instead of Just Jade initially, is the right depth of colour for the Dark Just Jade, but it is a different in undertone.
I hope you found this helpful, or at least interesting! I would love your thoughts on the colours. Do you see them as being similar to other colours? If so which ones? A little further down I have the links for the new InColor Inks (and the bundle, that saves you 10%!) and Blends, as well as the stamp set I used. I have also listed the new InColor Stampin’ Write Marker pack, just in case you want that too. In Europe there are currently no In Refills available to order (thanks to German Customs again!), but we hope they will be available very soon.
