Retiring List – Some of my very FAVOURITE products. I thought I would take a moment to show you some of my very favourite products that are not going to be with us much longer. I have been quite lucky this year with the Retirement List, but there are a few favourites that I really am going to miss. So without further ado, here we go.
I must start with the Botanical Prints Product Medley. This is (at the time of recording) still available in Europe and is a MASSIVE 60% off. That means that for just £26.00 you get the Stamp set, Dies, Designer Series Paper, Die Cuts, Ribbon and Embellishments. For the price of the Stamp Set and Dies (well less than that really) you get everything else FREE!! Please, if it is still available when you read this BUY IT. Even if you don’t think you will use it, I am sure there is someone you know who will.
I really didn’t think this would make it to my Favourites list, but it is here and is a worthy addition. Because it is so NOT my usual style, I volunteered to do a showcase at a recent Team Training event, to push myself. Boy it worked, I love this set now and will be sorry to see it retire. Just look at the cute faces they have. This really is a lion you can love!
Seriously the Best is a stamp set that is meant to be used with a Project Kit. The Kit has now sold out, but the Stamp set is not only available, but is reduced and is now only £7.20!! It is another set that is just perfect for times like this and really doesn’t need to be used with the Project Kit. All I would say is, if you shopped with me last month and used the Host Code, don’t buy it (just a hint!!)
This really is going to be a surprise I think. On to Adventure is such fun and is aimed at slightly older people, without showing them as ‘old’. I have used this set so often, it really was one of my favourites from the Annual Catalogue.
So much so that I am showing you 2 photos, it is worthy of both!
Now these were a surprise. Not only is the Parisian Beauty Bundle going, but so are the Heirloom Frames Embossing Folders and Dies. These were so versatile and, again, I have used them so much. They are great if you want to make a focal point a little more obvious. And why did the Eiffel Tower not make the cut? Such a great travel set for European Holidays. Sad Face!
First Frost was a favourite for me from the moment it was launched in the Autumn/Winter Catalogue a couple of years ago. The paper that went with it was stunning, but the stamps and dies work well on their own too. Great for soft florals.
Both Varied Vases and Vibrant Vases are going, but the punch is carrying over, so it is possible there will be a new set at some point
The Tropical Oasis Suite has been amazing to work with. The Stamps and Dies are carrying over, but the Memories & More cards are not. These are fantastic for making really quick cards, and at the moment are about as near to a Tropical Paradise as we are going to get! If you are new to crafting, or simply want to make cards quickly, these and a set of Memories & More Assorted Note Cards and Envelopes will be a great place to start.
Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper has been a go to for so many looking for something softer. There is the standard pack, plus the Bulk Pack which has lots of sheets of just 2 double sided designs. It is perfect for mass production of wedding invitations and the like. The Good Morning Magnolia Stamps and matching dies are carrying over, but the Magnolia Blooms Stamps from the Beginner Brochure are not. This is the set that has the ‘Thank You’ sentiment, as well as Happy Birthday and Congratulations. This would be a great additional set to have on hand either to use on its own, or with the main set.
I am very sad to see that our Pillow Boxes are going and are not being replaced, certainly in the Annual Catalogue. These are perfect for quick gift packaging. All they really need is some ribbon and a tag, but you could step them up, as I have, with some masking and die cuts. So versatile.
What I found really amusing about this trip down memory lane is the changes to my photo set up. I have actually parred it right down now. My Photo Box has been packed away and, for now at least, I am just using the garden table. It gives me good light in both wet and sunny weather because it is under cover. It is immediately outside my Studio, so really easy to just pop out and take the photos I need.
In today’s video I show you these projects and some others made with the same products. Let me know if any of my favourites are also your favourites.
Rather than only list the items I have selected to focus on, I am adding a link to the whole Retiring List. Simply click on this image:
