Mini Album in a Pizza Box. I showed some of my favourite retiring products earlier this week and someone asked if I could show you how I made the Mini Album in a Pizza Box I featured. This is the reply to that request.
The original was made to showcase the Birthday Bonanza Suite for a Team event earlier this year. Today’s version is much more subdued and uses the Perennial Essence from the Annual Catalogue. At the point of writing this post the patterned paper and the 12 x 12 2018-20 InColor pack are both still available.
The real key to this project is to get your score lines burnished well and then to make sure you spread the papers out well. If any of the patterns have an obvious up/down, do make sure they run in the right direction on all the pages. The Perennial Essence paper is not one that you need to worry about too much, which might be why I chose it for my recorded project.
My version has 13 sides and uses one 12 x 12 sheet of card for the pages and another for the mats, but you could add or take away pages if you want. The card for the main pizza box can be cut from a standard sheet of card, so if you are saving your 12 x 12 for projects that need the large size, you can definitely use standard card. The same goes for the mats, I used a 12 x 12 sheet, but you could use standard card. Adding the patterned paper is a great way to use up scraps. If you would like to make this mini album, and I hope you do, you will probably find it easier to watch the video, but the dimensions are all bellow if you need them.
I hope you enjoyed the video and that you will try making the album. You can use any papers you want, and I was thinking it would be a great size to use as a Lockdown Album.
