Facebook Live Tuesday 12th May 2020 Replay. WOW! This week’s Facebook Live was such fun and I even managed to make 5 cards. There are a couple of similar designs, but I think you are going to like all of them. They all use some of our Note Cards and Envelope options.
The first two cards used the Tropical Oasis Memories and More Card Pack. I love using these for quick cards, many of them layer up perfectly, so it is just so easy. My first card was a bright floral card, perfect to send to your best friend and let them know your are thinking of them.
The same pack of cards created my second card, which is much more subdued. This would be perfect to send to someone who has not been too well and needs to take life a little slower for a while. The Tropical Oasis Memories and More Cards are not in the new Annual Catalogue, so if you want them, don’t wait too long.
The next two cards I made were, unfortunately, for people I know who have not been too well recently. Both were made using the Back on Your Feet Stamp Set, which is carrying over. The first card is for someone who had a mild stroke earlier this week and is in hospital for a few days while they make sure he is OK. I am hoping that this card will put a smile on his face when he gets home.
My second card from this set is for a friend of ours who had a nasty fall down their stairs. The poor lady has a badly broken arm and a ‘few’ broken ribs. The Sloth image, complete with bandaged arm, seems perfect. I cased this card from the current Annual Catalogue, but used one of the Scalloped Note Cards.
My final card uses the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set. This is a fantastic starter set as it has a good selection of sentiments, and, although the stamps are made to be layered, you don’t have to line them up exactly. This really does mean that you are almost guaranteed a good stamping experience. I finished this card with a strip of ribbon on the inside of the card to make the most of the scalloped edge. Did you spot that I have added something to all the cards with the scalloped edge? Such a fun idea.
I hope you take a look at the Facebook Live Replay. If you want to skip the chat at the start, then you should probably skip to about 15 minutes in.
