Facebook Live Replay – 19th May 2020. Wow we had a blast on Tuesday! I am really settling in to these Facebook Live sessions. It still amazes me that there are people joining from around the world. All to be with me in my Craft Studio behind our garage!
All of the projects we made during the Live were cased from other Demonstrators, but I am happy to say that I have managed to look back through my personal YouTube history to find out who I cased!!
The first project was to make some Note Cards using a technique that I saw Jacque Williams (a Million Dollar Achiever from New Zealand) show on her YouTube Channel. On the subject of which, I was staggered to see that she has fewer than 2,000 Subscribers, please go and check her channel out and think about Subscribing (but not until you have Subscribed to mine!!!). The techniques is so simple, but so effective. All you have to do is tear your paper!!! AMAZING!!
Having made 4 cards and envelopes (with added paper to make them special), we made a Card Holder that I saw another Million Dollar Achiever make. Karen Titan is in the USA , and does a lot of her videos with her husband (they are hilarious!). She showed how to make this holder when she was at the Stampin’ Up! Head Office for her Achiever Trip.
It is so simple to make and, once you have cut your paper to the right size, there is no cutting or gluing required! I would suggest not using too many Dimensionals on the Note Cards inside, mine is a bit tight.
The final project uses the Scrappy Strip Technique that Bruno Bertucci started. Bruno, if you don’t know, is Kylie Bertucci’s husband, and a great crafter in his own right. I wanted to challenge myself to make a card using the Dinoroar paper (which I have not used AT ALL until now). My aim was to make a card that did not have any dinosaurs on it.
I also used the new Lovely You Stamp and Punch Bundle from the new Annual Catalogue.
I would love to welcome you to my next Facebook Live event. They happen every Tuesday at 11 am UK Time and run for about an hour, sometimes a bit more.
