#SimpleStamping Saturday – First Frost Last Look. So sorry that this post is later than usual, but I have fallen a little behind. My Card Kit in the Mail has proven so popular that I have spent a couple of days just die cutting. There are a VERY few Kits still available, so if you would like one, please Email me at Liz.Yuille@Artlover.com. The absolute FINAL DEADLINE is midnight TONIGHT UK time. Full details are HERE.
Today’s #SimpleStamping Saturday features First Frost, one of the sets that is retiring at the end of the current catalogue, or while stocks last!!
As ever, #SimpleStamping Saturday takes one design from Simple through Casual to Avid Crafter projects. The #SimpleStamping version uses one of our Note Cards and Envelopes. This time there are just 3 ink pads from the Retiring InColor Family. The InColor items have a habit of selling out REALLY quickly as soon as the Retirement List is issued, so if you want any products with these colours, NOW is the time to get them.
The Casual version of this project was the first of the 3 that I made. This is normally the place I start with these projects so I only have to step down once and up once. Much easier than 2 steps in either direction. I have introduced Coloured Card, Ribbon, Enamel Dots and Punches, but you can see the design is the same as the Simple version. To see how I made the label from the Pretty Label Punch, just take a look at the video.
The Avid version introduces the Frosted Bouquet Dies, and I have used these for ALL of the elements. The layers are the same for this as the Casual version, other than adding some vellum.
Did you spot that, other than the card and vellum, everything I used on the projects is retiring. I am intending to highlight a few more retiring items in the coming days. The only problem with this is that items will start to sell out VERY quickly, so I will not be running the risk of using Retiring items for too long.
