Facebook Live Tuesday 7th April 2020 – Replay. Welcome back to my site, I am thrilled to share YESTERDAY’S Facebook Live Coffee & Card event with you. I am particularly happy because there were almost no technical issues this time! I love having the opportunity to interact with some fellow crafters, but at the moment the only option is to do that in a ‘virtual’ way, so Facebook Live it was today.
There were 3 cards to share with you, so will look at them in the order I featured them. Starting with a note card using the amazing Ornate Garden Suite. You can see how I made this, and the other cards, in the YouTube video further down this post. I have cut the first few minutes from the original as these were just me setting up and sorting out a few issues’.
I love how easy it is to put cards together using the Ornate Garden Suite, because all the products were made to go together they do, surprise, surprise, go together!
Next I made a very simple card with the Beautiful Moments stamp set and Stitched So Sweetly dies, both from the Mini Catalogue. I spotted a similar card on Pinterest. It had been made for OnStage in Sidney, held in November last year. I have seen it a few times, so I am not sure who the original design was made by.
I have taken the original design and made it my own by adding the layers and ribbon. This was going to be a set I was NEVER going to buy, but I succumbed a few weeks back, and am so pleased I did.
The final card was one I had meant to share last week on my Coffee & Card Live, but it was not to be. This is for a boy’s birthday. I was asked to make this card by one of the village residents who can’t get out during these strange times. I was told that it needed to have a car on it, so I am hoping he will like it!
The stamp set I used is the Geared Up Garage, which I used with the matching dies. Both are available in the Annual Catalogue. The Smoky Slate mat was embossed with the Brick & Morter 3D Embossing Folder (also in the Annual Catalogue).
So, do you like my cards for this week’s Coffee & Card Live? I hope you do. In the video you will also find details of a few giveaways I have running, including one that is FREE to enter with a prize of a stamp set! All you need to do is share either this, YouTube, version of the video, or the original Facebook version (on my Facebook Business Page). The deadline is the end of Monday 20th April. The draw will take place during the next Coffee & Card Live on Tuesday 21st April.
I have listed the products I used in the same order as the three cards, but if something appears on more than one card, I will only list it one.
