Facebook Live Tuesday 28th April 2020 – Replay. Wow I had such fun during the Facebook Live earlier this week. I even managed to make a couple of cards using the new Share Sunshine Digital Download! I love this idea and that Stampin’ Up! are giving ALL of the money to 2 global charities supporting Covid-19 issues. I particularly like that YOU get to choose which Charity you want your money to go to (or that you want it split equally between the two!)
I love all of the cards I made and hope you like them too. The first one is a CASE of a card that the lovely Mikaela Titheridge made for a Blog Hop she and I are part of. The card uses paper from the See a Silhouette Suite and some simple Fussy Cutting (there is definitely a theme this week!!), These florals are a great starting point for practising the technique as their border is very wide, so very forgiving. I swapped the embossing folder for the Layering Leaves 3D folder for a slightly softer finish. The sentiment is from Seriously The Best, heat embossed with Shimmer White Embossing powder, then, yes, fussy cut!!
The second two cards used images from the Share Sunshine download. The printer ink was almost still wet at the point I went live, but I had to include these. It is such a great way to help fight this dreadful virus. There is a link in the sidebar of this post to the shop site for the download. It is not available in our usual store, so please make sure you follow the specific link.
Both cards were so quick to put together, which is perfect when you want to send out lots of Happy Mail. I would love it if you could let me know if you have already purchased this. I am going to be featuring it in future Card Kits in the Mail (there will be some alternative suggestions for stamps you could use instead) so I can help Stampin’ Up! hit their target for the amount they want to raise with this initiative. Initially the download will only be available to purchase until 2nd June 2020, but it is possible this could be extended if it is still being popular. To guarantee your copy, buy it NOW!
So that is it for this week’s Facebook Live, other than actually watching the replay. Please remember that I will not be able to respond to your comments immediately, this is a recording!!
