Global Monthly Video Collaboration – My Meadow – Green Theme. Welcome back to my Blog and my second post of today.
As you may know, I am part of a Collaboration that brings you videos each month. We share the links to the others on our YouTube Channels, but I have also included them lower down this post. This month we have an interesting Theme of ‘Green’, so I am waiting to see what the others have come up with. I have used the My Meadow stamp set I was given when I attended CentreStage in Dortmund in November. This is an event for the Stampin’ Up! Leaders’ Group that I am honoured to be part of. The group is only open to those Demonstrators who are considered ‘Leaders’, which requires you to hit a number of goals, including Sales, Team Size and Team Title. Let it be said, it is a VERY small group.
I have to admit that I had not inked up this set until I was thinking about today’s project. Today’s theme was an ideal moment to change that. I decided to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) a card in the Mini Catalogue, but changed it up a little. For a change I have used Very Vanilla as my stamping card, which means that the ink colours are going to behave a little differently. With this in mind, I chose to use Soft Seafoam, Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce. I added 2 further Greens by adding a mat of Pear Pizzazz for the background, plus the Old Olive Vellum from the Perennial Essence Suite in the Annual Catalogue.
I really enjoy using this style of stamp set, and have the others in the series (Waterfront from the Annual Catalogue and Snow Front from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue). Perhaps it is the ability to do so many things with the stamps as so few of them are full images. I had a blast layering up all the images for today’s card. But I did need a sentiment, so pulled Perennial Birthday, which has the PERFECT sentiment for this card!
To see how I made the card, simply click on the video below to see the step by step process.
