Little Ladybug Peekaboo Flip Card. I shared this card as the Make & Take at a recent Team Training evening. It is not a new fold, indeed it has been around for some years, but I was reminded of it by a video on saw from fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Julie Davison.
I decided to use the Little Ladybug Stamp Set. This is a FREE HOST Stamp Set as part of Sale-a-Bration. You can only get if FREE when you either place an order of over £275, OR, if you are in the UK, contact me about holding a virtual Stampin’ Up! Party using an exclusive Facebook Group. Just invite all your crafty friends across the UK and then contact me to arrange the details. I arrange all the fun, and you sit back and enjoy. You don’t even need to clean the house, and can be in your PJs if you want!!!
Back to the project. I love the Little Ladybug images, they really are very cute, and to have them moving is just such fun. I deliberately chose bright colours, with Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green as the main colours, toned down a little with So Saffron and Basic Black. Generally, I find that you can have two very strong colours if you add something to calm everything and for this card Basic Black and So Saffron were the perfect choices.
This card would work very well with other stamp sets. Any set that has images that fit the sizes (assuming you don’t want to do the maths to change everything!!) would work well. I particularly liked the images and sentiments I chose for this card because it was for a Team Training event. Some of the Team are very capable of doing amazing things, but need a little encouragement to ‘FLY’. I just loved the thought of sending this to someone who just needs to know that I have faith in them and their ability.
I send cards to my team for all kinds of achievements, but I also select one of them to receive my customer gift pack. Who gets it is determined by a process of elimination. Anyone who is going to receive a card from me that month for something else, is taken out of the selection, as is anyone who received the pack the previous 2 months. Then it is simply a question of a random selection.
Have you noticed that I have not given you many clues about how to make this project? Well that is because I can give you FULL instructions simply by clicking this link – Full Instructions. You can also watch the Video of show to make it by clicking on the YouTube link above. All I would ask is that if you use this design for a class or online, you credit me.

Such a cute project……I live in the US and I followed your link to Julie’s blog, but I could not find the said card. I looked on her Facebook page too but still did not find this card anywhere. Could you possibly link to her direct page for this card or be so kind to share the metric measurements? TIA Hugs
Deb
Hi Debi, if you search Julie’s site for ‘peekaboo flip’ you will find lots of projects for this design. Also, I have included a link to the handout I provided the Team, with all the measurements and supplies, in my post. I hope you find this helpful. Lx
