Cup of Christmas Team Training. Earlier this week we had a fantastic Team Training Event. Now, don’t get too concerned about the use of the word ‘Training’, yes we did cover some of the information we have just been given about the Demonstrator Mini Catalogue Pre-Order and Sale-a-Bration Pre-Earn, but mostly we just had fun.
One of the great perks of being a Demonstrator is that we get early access to all the new products in the Mini and Holiday Catalogues, and at this time of year, the Sale-a-Bration brochure too. This is open to ALL Demonstrators, not just those who attended OnStage. For me, this means that I can make sure I get ahead with my planning for January and February, but also that I can get my hands on ALL the Designer Series Papers and Ribbons ready to launch my SHARES.
Putting Shares together is one of my favourite promotions, giving my lovely customers the opportunity to get a trial of ALL the Papers and Ribbons. I have been sending out Shares almost as long as I have been a Demonstrator. Although they are a lot of work, I love doing them. I take pride in my packaging and the speed with which I send them out, and have received some amazing feedback from those who take advantage of these. Keep your eyes peeled for more information on these soon.
Back to Team Training. The December event is always great fun and usually has a real party vibe to it. This time we have a Christmas Tree making competition, all starting with the same base and adding our own decoration. There was a small prize for the winner. Here is my version.
We often make little gifts for each other for these events, just, what I would call ‘A Little bit of Nonsense’. My gift this time used the Cup of Christmas Bundle and is the subject of today’s video. They are great fun to make, and although they are a little fiddly, they are not particularly difficult. If you are not a fan of Heat Embossing (if that is a thing!!), you could always switch the colours and use Whisper White for your card and Poppy Parade ink for the stamping. Oh, and remember that the Cup of Christmas stamp set is NOT Carrying over, so if you want it, get it NOW. The dies will be with us until at least the start of June 2020, but get them now as part of the Bundle and save 10% on both products.
And to make the evening absolutely perfect, it was a clear and crisp night with frost on the ground. The kind of night when you can see your own breath. My idea of a perfect December night, and with the most amazing people to enjoy an evening of fun, laughter and crafting. I can’t wait to see this bunch again very soon. Remember that you can enjoy all of this too, simply take a test drive of our amazing Starter Kit.
