Tropical Chic OnStage Live Dortmund Swap. When you read this I will be getting ready for our first day at OnStage Live in Dortmund, Germany. I love all OnStage events, but the Live ones are just something else again! Today’s Live event will have Demonstrators from across Europe, as well as a few from further afield.
One of the really fun events is that we all (well most of us) take projects with us to swap. We simply make a few, or lots, of the same project and swap ours with other people. It means that if you take 50 of your project you should come away with 50 other projects, all different and all inspirational. For this event I have made just under 100, but in 2 designs, so people will have a choice. This is the first one I am sharing with you.
I have used the Tropical Chic stamp set and the matching Tropical Dies. The Blackberry Bliss card is cut with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies before having the fern leaf die cut from the centre. I added the Heat Embossing next, using one of the sentiments from the stamp set. The Copper Fern was then inlaid before mounting the focal piece on Very Vanilla that I embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
For a finishing touch, I added a Blackberry Bliss Layer behind the Very Vanilla. All the recipient needs to do to finish the card is mount it on a standard A6 Very Vanilla Card base. If I was making this for a card, rather than a swap, I would die cut the rectangle from the Blackberry Bliss mat. The final thing for me to do was to write the ‘recipe’ and then stick that on the back with my contact details. To see how I made this, step by step, simply take a look at the Video Tutorial.
For a chance to win a ‘New in Box’ Stamparatus from me, simply share this post, the YouTube Video or the post on my Facebook Business Page, leave a comment to say you have SHARED. If you share all three, you will get 3 entries. If you are in the UK and place an order with me before 17th November AND use the Host Code, you will get FIVE entries in the draw. So, if you share all three of the posts (this, YouTube ad Facebook) AND place an order, you could get 8 entries. The draw will take place on Monday 18th November and remember, I am only permitted to post the prize to a UK Address.
I love that you choose me as your demonstrator. Remember, when you shop with me online, use the monthly Host Code to share the Host Rewards.
