Lilypad Lake Frame for Inspire Create Challenge. Where is the time going? It is already time for a new Inspire Create Challenge and this time it is Die Cuts. This gives so much scope for all kinds of crafting, whether it is ‘everyday’ or for Christmas, if it involves at least one die cut, you are good to go.
I am trying to take another look at the Annual Catalogue at the moment, with a smattering of Autumn/Winter along the way, but mostly Annual. I have loved the Lilypad Lake stamp set and dies since they were launched. This set is what I used for my swaps for one of the special events I went to at OnStage in Orlando last November, and still love them.
This project includes a number of techniques, including layering diecuts, colour blending, masking and a few more. If you want to see how these are all done in one short project, then why not take a look at my video today. I also learnt from my own mistakes for this project. Did you see the Poppy Parade stripes on one of the sails has bled? I explain how to avoid that in the video too, you can learn from my mistake!
Don’t be put off by the thought of so many techniques on one project, they really are very easy to master and I show you lots of tricks in my video tutorial. Remember that I am always happy to answer any questions you have to help you along. Just pop a comment on this post or on the video and I will get back to you soon.
As ever, you can see all the projects the Design Team has shared, simply by clicking on the image below. So take a look and the enter.
