Freaky Friday Snow Globe By Request. I recently shared a card I had made for a Team Event and have received a few requests to show how I made it. So, never one to refuse these things, here you go. Here is my Freaky Friday Eyeball Globe Card! Well you did ask!!!
For both cards I used the Snow Globe Scene Dies to make the the space for the Dome and the base. These pair with the Still Scenes Stamp Set to make up a Bundle and therefore a 10% saving if bought together using the Bundle code. But I only used the dies for this project. The paper is from the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper pack, which has some more general designs in too, so don’t think it is only for Halloween.
I made the eyeballs to fill the Snow Globe by simply adding dots of Basic Black Stampin Blends on scraps of Whisper White, Crushed Curry and Smoky Slate Card. I used a hole punch to punch these dots out and added more ink to the reverse if needed. To reduce the chance of the ‘eyeballs’ sticking to the Snow Globe Dome, I used some Embossing Buddy to reduce the static. The Mummy Faces were stamped in the first example, but cut from the Monster Bash Paper in the second one. The second version actually has no stamping in it at all.
To see exactly how I put the card together, take a look at my YouTube video. I go through the whole process, with no cuts or editing, just step by step instructions on how to make your own Freaky Friday Snow Globe (with added eyeballs!)
