Ink. Stamp. Share September Blog Hop Christmas – Most Wonderful Time. Welcome to another Blog Hop with the Ink.Stamp.Share Team. If you are a regular visitor to my Blog, they you will have noticed that I am later posting than usual, but now you will understand why! If you are following the Hop, you will have joined me from Sandra Roberts, you are very welcome, and I hope you enjoy your visit. I think my blog posts are a little different from some, so let me explain. I HATE writing instructions, it takes me so long and I am never quite sure they are right. So instead, I always (well 99% of the time) have a video showing you how I made the project.
Back to the hop. Today we are embracing all things Christmas. I decided to play with some dies from the Annual Catalogue that I have not used in a while, but are PERFECT for the Christmas products I have decided to use. Why is it perfect? Because I have chosen the Perfect Parcels Dies (you can buy these as part of the Parcels & Petals Bundle and save 10%). You need to cut 2 of the Parcel die, but you can use 6 x 6 paper.
My chosen Christmas product is the ‘Most Wonderful Time’ Product Medley. I have used this quite a lot already, but I still have lots left. I am challenging myself to use every last bit of it and then share a pdf full of inspiration with anyone who buys the Product Medley from me. There will be LOTS of projects, most of which will only be seen by these lucky people.
It amused me to have parcels on a parcel, so not only have I made one of the parcels in parcel paper, I have also added stamped and die cut parcels to the tag. The parcels are a 2-step stamp, so, as ever, my recommendation is to stamp with the darkest colour first and then add the lighter ones, it is MUCH easier than the other way round. I even managed it on camera!! Unheard of!!!
In the video you will see how I put the Parcel together. It is not totally obvious from the dies and the catalogue, so a little guidance may be needed. I even had to watch one of my previous videos to remind myself how to do it. How is that for honesty? I hope you enjoy my slightly mad idea of how to do videos. They are shot ‘as live’ and are totally unedited, so what you see is exactly what happens.
The only products I have added (other than the Perfect Parcel dies) are some ribbon and card. Everything else is in the Product Medley, or is a basic supply, like adhesive, ink and embossing powder. So that was not bad, and just think how many you could make with just one 6 x 6 pack of paper! Well that would be 24 as you need 2 sheets for each. Not bad. You can see a full list of what I used below the Roll Call for the Blog Hop. Please do follow it along, you will not be sorry. If this was your first visit, please think about subscribing to my Blog, you will find that on the right of this post, below my picture. You can also subscribe to my YouTube channel if you would like to see more of my madness. I post most days, other than Sundays.
