Freaky Friday Coffin Card Ideas. Welcome back to another Freaky Friday project and today I have a coffin card for you, suitably covered in cobwebs and aged for extra fright value.
I have made 2 versions of the card, one using dies and one using punches, so this should be a project for both Avid and Casual Crafters. It is worth remembering that you can often switch out dies and punches, so don’t think you can’t make a project because you don’t have the exact item, have a look at what you have and see if you can adapt it. Now, don’t get me wrong, if you want everything (and I definitely do!) then by all means place an order in my Online Store to get any missing items.
In today’s video I have explained how to cut a basic top fold card to make the coffin shape. I would stress that for this one I have not included measurements that are specific to North American Letter card as I know that is shorter and fatter, so the measurements I have used would not give the same effect.
I love ageing Halloween projects with the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint. It gives such a great subtle effect, just right for these coffins. And the Silver Thread is a great addition to any project with cobwebs. Take a look at today’s video to see how I put the punch project together.
