Facebook Live Revisited – 25th September 2019. I have finally taken the plunge! For some months I have saying that I am going to start Facebook Lives and today I did it!! I sort of had to after being asked to do a presentation at a recent Stampin’ Up! event in Scotland. My theme was ‘Done is better than Perfect and Consistency is Key’. If I am advising others to just take the plunge, then I really had to. I need to sort out when I will schedule future Facebook Lives, but schedule them I will!
This first video is slightly different from the ones I am planning in the future. I was at a Team Training event over the weekend, so I wanted to share some of the projects and swaps that I came home with. Trust me, you will want to see those, they are amazing, but the Team are, so why would I expect the projects to be otherwise?
I also made some projects live. These were only slightly planned, so there is some humming and mind changing going on, but I think we got there in the end. Again, future Facebook Lives will (probably) be a little more organised!
The first project we made as to finish off some Tiny Keepsake Boxes. These are so cute and 4 will fit perfectly in one of our Baker’s Boxes, oh and for those who like these things, each Tiny Keepsake Box will hold a Ferrero Rocher, so perfect to hang on a Christmas Tree without letting people know there is a goody inside! I will decorate the Baker’s Box in a future video – probably sometime next week.
Next I made a Wonderfully Wicked card. I really like this Bundle, it is useful for all sorts of Goth style crafting, so don’t just think Halloween. This card was really quick to put together, which as I had not designed it before the Facebook Live, was a bit of a crafting miracle!
The final project was the card I showed further up this post, the Autumn/Fall leaves card. I used the Rooted in Nature stamps and matching dies. My original plan was a very different idea, but I changed my mind just as I was about to start making the card. I think it turned out OK, what do you think? Does it work? Do let me know by leaving a comment.
