#Simplestamping Saturday – Beauty Abounds. As each week passes the night seem to be drawing in more and more. It won’t be long before the clocks change and we are officially out of British Summer Time. Scary!! But never mind that now, today is #SimpleStamping Saturday, so I have three more projects for you, all using the same basic products and layout. We start, as ever, with a quick and simple card made using one of our great Note Cards and Envelopes.
My stamp set today is Beauty Abounds, which is generally seen as being all about Butterflies. Well, not today. Today I am using three ink colours for a simple Bokeh Card. Mint Macaron, Soft Sea Foam and Soft Suede are a great combination of colours. Just four stamps from the set and almost foolproof stamping. We start by building up a soft background of Bokeh dots, the the Sentiment is stamped right over the top, with its partner on the inside. Remember to stamp the flap of the envelope and you are done. Quick and Simple!
But, if you want to step it up, you can add some coloured cards stock (I added the Subtles collection), a Punch, some ribbon and sequins. These few additions make such a difference. Nothing difficult, just the same #SimpleStamping and more bits and pieces.
Why not step it up even more? replace the punch for some layering dies and the sequins for rhinestones coloured with a Blends pen and you have an even more amazing card, but with the same #SimpleStamping.
It is as simple as that. All we have changed is the amount of ‘STUFF’ we have used. The stamping is exactly the same for each card. If you have sequins or rhinestones, but no punches or dies, then just add what you do have to change your #SimpleStamping project into a more elaborate project.
As ever for #SimpleStamping Saturday, I have listed the products I have used in the order introduced them. The list is MUCH longer than it needs to be, because it covers the 3 versions.

“Simplestamping Saturday–Beauty Aboounds”: Wish you had shown the stepped up version rather than merely told it. I could not keep up. I’ll go over it again. A very pretty card. I think the simplest was the prettiest.
Hi Suzy, I hear what you say about the stepped up versions, but the point of SimpleStamping Saturday is that it is aimed at the beginner crafter. I do the Stepped Up versions to show that by adding a few additional products and techniques and do one of the more advanced projects. The rest of the week shows more advanced projects, so this is the only time I am talking to more of the Beginner. I hope that makes sense and that you understand why I do these SimpleStamping projects. Thanks Liz x
