Congratulations on Your Next Adventure. After the excitement of yesterday and the opening of the Autumn/Winter Per-Order for Demonstrators, today we are back to something approaching normality.
I told you I loved the On To Adventure stamp set, well here is another project (or two) with it. This uses the last two images in the set and is a bright and fun card and gift box. I am thinking the box, which is one of our wonderful pizza boxes, could hold a little going away gift for people heading out on a dream holiday. I deliberately chose bright, happy colours that would make the project zing.
The box layers are cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies, which I have resized so they are square. I have shared this technique before in THIS POST. Take a look at the video to see how I made the card.
The images on both the card and the box are coloured with Blends. I really enjoy colouring with these. The ink runs well to both the bullet and brush tips, but it also does ‘blend’ well. Some simple colouring just makes such a difference. The stamped images include shading, so there is very little to do other than add the colour. Turn it into a Quick and Simple project by cutting your own mats, rather than using dies.
