Top Tip Tuesday – Stamp Cleaning Pad

Top Tip Tuesday – Stamp Cleaning Pad. Have you seen this new Stamp Cleaning Pad yet? It is on Page 182 of the Annual Catalogue and is made to use with both Photopolymer and Red Rubber Stamps. It is perfect for cleaning Classic and Craft Inks from your Stamps.

Stamp Cleaning Pad from Stampin' Up! BEFORE cleaning

Just take a look at the ‘Before and After’ picture above. The surface on the right has been cleaned with the pad, but the left side has not been touched, yet. The difference is amazing from just one attempt to get that pink stain off. It may not be perfect, but it is a vast improvement. To see how to use it, take a look at this quick video. There are a few things to remember. Firstly, it is not meant to clean Stazon Ink, for that you need Stazon Cleaner. As soon as you have finished cleaning your stamp, wash it in some warm soapy water to remove the residue. This is important for both Photopolymer and Red Rubber, but particularly Red Rubber Cling; rinsing helps keep the Cling clinging!

So now you have seen the video, here is the same stamp having been fully cleaned. It is still not ‘like new’ but the difference has to be seen to be believed. There is almost none of the pink stain left on the stamp, and where it does remain, it is mostly on the areas that are very difficult to get too.

Stamp Cleaning Pad from Stampin' Up! AFTER cleaning

I think this is a ‘MUST HAVE’ product for all crafters, but particularly those who like photopolymer stamps and hate when they get that pink stain on them. I find the stain means you don’t know if you have inked the stamp up properly AND it makes it difficult to see through them, which is a real issue for 2-step stamping. Why not add this to your next order? It might be all you need to get you another Bonus Days Voucher!!

Tomorrow is the last day to spend in July and receive a DISCOUNT on your shopping in August!! For every £45 you spend in July you will get a £4.50 Bonus Days Coupon to spend in August. That is almost like getting FREE postage even if you only spend the minimum £45!!
