Silhouette Scenes and the Card I Didn’t Know I CASEd! I mean, seriously, it was only after I had made this card that I looked in the catalogue to find the page numbers for you. Imagine my surprise when I realised that I have created a card that is almost EXACTLY the same as one in there. Oh well. Great Minds Think Alike! Just take a look at page 133.
This is the first project I have made with this bundle, yet it was one that I knew as soon as I saw the catalogue I NEEDED. I love silhouettes, which is why I also like Enjoy Life, which I have used LOTS. But, back to today’s project. I used a mat of the See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper. This is great paper, particularly if you like the look of Brusho or Sprinkles, but not the mess they can make. This is the clean alternative!
Because I wanted a really dark impression of the girl on the swing, I used Stazon Jet Black Ink. It gives a much darker impression than Memento Tuxedo Black, and as the stamps are Red Rubber, it is safe to use. To ensure that I got the very dark impression I wanted I also used the Stamperatus. This allows me to re-stamp multiple times if I need to, which in the video I did. I added the paper to a Poppy Parade mat.

The tree was die cut in Basic Black card, although Black Foil would be a good look too (I have some on order). I placed this so that the swing was lined up with the tree, then trimmed off any that overhung the edge of the mat. It was at this point that I added the sentiment so I could make sure that it was placed correctly between the girl and the tree. All that needed to be done now, was adding this piece to a Mango Melody Card base using Dimensionals. DONE! I love a quick project like this. Designer Series Paper can really help you make quick cards that are still stunning.
