Help! How do I Glue Intricate Die Cuts? I have a really quick Top Tip for you today. As with most of my Top Tips, this is nothing new, but may be something you have missed. Until the launch of the new Annual Catalogue, I would have told you to get the Adhesive Sheets and stick those on the back of your cardstock, but as Stampin’ Up! No longer stocks this, we need an alternative.
This is actually something I have used for years, even when there was the option to use adhesive sheets. It is simple and easy. Just take a piece of a Stamping Sponge (I use about 1/6th of a sponge). Add some Multi-purpose Liquid Adhesive onto your Silicone Mat and bounce the sponge in it. Use the sponge to add the glue to the back of your Die Cut. I suggest placing the Die Cut on the Silicone Mat to make sure you only get glue where you need it.
Now you can simply place the Die Cut where you need it. I would suggest keeping your sponge in a small airtight box for future use. Over time it will get really mucky, so when it is past its best, just replace it! As I said, this is a really quick Top Tip. Just check out the video to see how quick this really is!
