#Simplestamping Saturday makes me Wildly Happy! Yes, another week has passed and it is #Simplestamping Saturday again! This week I am using the sweetest of stamp sets, Wildly Happy! There are four incredibly sweet images of young animals with a parent. But please, don’t think the are only for for children and new parents. They are great for any occasion, particularly if the recipient is an animal lover.
My quick, simple, easy card (you choose what to call it!) is really very simple indeed. All I have done is ink up two stamps and applied them to card! I used Sift Suede, which seemed the ideal colour for the wild rabbits round us, some of which are surprisingly dark! I used the left over ink from the Rabbit stamp to stamp the front of the envelope, having huffed on the stamp first. As ever, this version of the card uses one of our Note Cards and Envelopes, this time in Whisper White. These are great to use for simple projects, and are a great place to start if you are new to stamping.
Stepping things up a bit for a more casual crafter, I added coloured card stock for my card base and layer. A rather surprising colour combination perhaps; Real Red and Blackberry Bliss. As both these colours are in the Regals Collection, they work together well and you only need one card pack! I used the new Birch Stamp for the background. It was inked in Soft Suede again, then stamped off before adding to the Whisper White mat. The rabbits are in full strength Soft Suede again, but I ‘moved’ some of the ink with a Blender Pen, a favourite of mine. The image was punched out with the Everyday Label Punch. I used the same punch with a scrap of Crumb Cake card, snipped the rounded ends off. Then I then cut this down the middle before adding to the back of the Rabbit image. The whole piece is mounted over a piece of Burlap Ribbon onto the front of the card.
On to the Avid version now. This is very similar to the Casual Version, other than I used the Nested Label Dies (come back on Tuesday to see how I resized them). I coloured some of the Heart Epoxy Droplets with the Dark Soft Suede Blends. The Rabbits are coloured with the Crumb Cake Combo pack of Blends and outlined with the new Light Gray Granite Blend. I love adding an outline to blended images, it seems to make them more 3D somehow. Oh, and for once, I stamped on the inside of the card, using second generation stamping.
So, which is your favourite? Or are you like me, you like them all, but for different things? I would love to hear from you, so why not leave a comment below and tell me what you think? As ever, I have listed the products I have used in order, so you can see how you can extend your crafting supplies as your enthusiasm and confidence increases. Because, trust me when I tell you they will!

Great tip for customizing the size of your die cuts. This was not the video for the bunnies. LOL
Hi Debi, Good spot, I linked the wrong video!! I have now changed it, so it should now be showing the correct video, with the Bunnies!!! It has been one of those weeks!!!! Lx
Just watched the “bunnies” video. Really cute set. TFS Do you have the instructions or template for the cardstock sampler that you showed during this video? I would love to make myself one. TIA
