Petal Promenade Gift Box and Give Away! Who doesn’t like a Give Away? More of that later, but first I want to share something with you that you may not know. One of the Cut-apart sheets in the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper is PERFECT as fronts for the Note Cards and Envelopes. Add a coloured mat and you have a fantastic card in no time. I have paired this with the new Free as a Bird Bundle from the new Annual Catalogue. For each card, I picked out the colour of the mat for the stamping on the stitched label. This helps to tie everything together. Finally I added some pearls just as a finishing touch.

The box is super easy to make. Just start with a piece of card 7 x 11″ and score the narrow side at 3/4″ and 6-1/4″. On the long side, score at 4″, 4-3/4″, 8-3/4″ and 9-1/2″. You can follow the actual construction on the video. Add the patterned paper before finishing the construction, it is much easier to add paper to a flat piece of card. So, the closure is simply a piece of sheer Whisper White ribbon wrapped around the flap, fed through a couple of small holes, and tied in a bow at the front.

So all in all, this is a quick and super easy project to make, and helps to use up all the Designer Series Paper that we keep hoarding. I give you permission to USE IT. After all, you know you want to, that way you can buy more, there are 19 new designs coming very soon!
