Everything Is Rosy Inspire Create Challenge #044. Yes, it is that time again. Today we have a sketch challenge, and it is a really simple sketch, which allows you to apply lots of your own creativity. I have not followed the sketch totally, but it is there. All I did was turn it on its side, so the square is at the top of a portrait card.
I have really enjoyed using the Everything is Rosy Product Medley and really can’t believe how much I have let to use still. The pot of Rose Gold Shimmer Paint hardly looks like I have started it, yet I have used it on lots of projects. If you would like to see more, just take a look at THIS POST. It was part of an International Blog Hop, so there are links to an amazing number of projects.
Back to today’s project. I chose two very different papers for both projects, so there was a good contrast. The lighter piece has a very light tint of Melon Mambo, so when I put the die cut label over it, I found it was too white. Easy fix, just add the smallest amount of Melon Mambo to the tag. But, that made it blend in too well. Sometimes solving one issue leads to another! No problem here though. I added some Rose Gold Shimmer Paint to the edge of one of the tags to give just the contrast I needed. Oh, and the Night of Navy stamped flowers help too. To see the other Design Team projects, just click on the picture above.
I added lots of stamped images that I die cut with the included dies. Some Night of Navy Ribbon on the Navy version, and Melon Mambo on the Melon version. And a bow helped to add more opulence, as did the Stitched Square of Rose Gold Foil and the mirror dots. Just three of those made a huge difference. Well, for me anyway.
I hope this has helped inspire you to have a go at the Sketch Challenge, and maybe tempted you to buy the Everything is Rosy Product Medley before it disappears.
