Forever Lovely Clean and Simple Card

Forever Lovely Clean and Simple Card. This is a really Clean and Simple card, just some stamping and a few embellishments, nothing much more. I used the Stamparatus to help line up the stamps because the Forever Lovely stamp set is a two step stamping set. Once you have the stamps lined up, you can make as many of these cards as you like, really quickly.

Forever Lovely Clean and Simple Card

I have used some of the 2017-2019 InColors for this project, but there is a twist with these cards. It is a fairly simple, but easy twist and can make quite a difference to the finished project. What is it? Simply that one card has been made with Very Vanilla and one with Whisper White. Can you spot the difference?

The difference is not huge, but I think it does highlight that using the different colour cards will impact on how the final project looks. The colours have changed a little, but for me, the main difference is that the Very Vanilla version is not as bright and ‘jolly’. It would be perfect for a sympathy card (change the sentiment!), but the Whisper White version would be better for a Birthday. Well, that is just my thoughts on the difference.

When I planned the original project I did not intend to add the Frosted Flowers, but once I had finished the stamping I thought something was missing. The Frosted Flowers seem to be the perfect addition, I think it is because they are not a ‘solid colour’ and merge into the background. But can you see that even these look different on the Very Vanilla. I found the two versions of the card very interesting. Although I had planned to make the project on both card stocks, I had not expected the change to be quite so dramatic. I just hope it is obvious in the photos and video. Do let me know.
