Narrow Note Card Home To Roost. Well, as I write this I am still in Norway. The weather today was amazing. Sunny and very crisp, and apparently the first day in over 80 when there has been no rain or snow in Bergen. You may know that when I left to travel here I only managed to grab a few items in my ’emergency’ crafting kit. Today I had a proper opportunity to get everything out and have a good play.

Today’s card proves that you can make a really great card with almost now supplies at all. There is a small caveat to that statement, in that I have used only two Stampin’ Write Markers, but they are from 2 sets. Oh, and in the picture I included an extra one, OOPS!! But just look at it, it is so cute, and just two stamps from a FREE stamp set. I would ask if you could guess which set, but the heading of this post may have given that away. Yes, it is the Home to Roost Sale-a-Bration set.

I used the Soft Suede and Grapefruit Grove markers for the grass. Adding the Grapefruit Grove first and then the darker Soft Suede, so that the Grapefruit Grove did not pick up the darker Soft Suede. The other trick to using markers to ink up your stamps is to use the brush end, BUT use the side, not the tip.
