Hello Cupcake Looks Good Enough To Eat! OK, so this is getting serious now. THERE ARE ONLY 2 MORE DAYS OF SALE-A-BRATION!!!
So, with this in mind I am bringing you another Sale-a-Bration and April Craft Box combination project today. It comes complete with puffy icing, so seriously looks good enough to eat. I should say puffy AND sparkly, really good enough to eat.
I have used items from my Gingham Gala Craft Box, which is perfect for all your Spring Projects. It is so fresh and glorious, with a fantastic range of amazing projects. It will arrive with you in a Large Letter box, beautifully wrapped and with a few extras enclosed (you will have to wait and see what). Just £21.50 delivered. Email me at liz.yuille@artlover.com to order yours.
OOPS, you want to know about the project! I made a card base the same size as our Narrow Note Cards, using coloured cardstock. I love this size, just 4-1/2″ x 2-1/2″, so perfect for attaching to a gift. We have the Easter holidays coming, so think Teacher Gifts, Easter Gifts, and more. But I wanted to have a matching envelope, so I made one with the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper. This is the PERFECT size to make an envelope for this size of card (see the bottom of the post for dimensions).
The Icing on the Cake (pun intended) is the puffy icing. This is our Shimmery White Embossing Paste, which I dried with the Heat Tool. Now you don’t have to dry it with the Heat Tool, but that is what makes if puff! The first card I made I applied the paste ‘freehand’, which was a little challenging, so for the second one I cut a mask from a scrap of cardstock. I simply used the icing stamp and then cut it out with Snips. This is better than using the (now out of stock) Call Me Cupcake Framelits because it is exactly the right size. Just stamp the icing on top of your cupcake and lay the mask over before spreading the paste over the stamped image (watch the video to see this).
Seriously, this is good enough to eat! If you want the Hello Cupcake stamp set you just need to place a qualifying order (£45 before P&P) to get yours FREE. Remember that if you also want the Gingham Gala April Craft Box, just drop me an email to order yours (payment MUST be with my by 3rd April).
