Bloom By Bloom – Cute Colour Embossed Easter or All Occasion Cards. Over the next few days you may come to realise that I recently acquired the 2018-2020 InColor Embossing Powders. I was give these as a Thank You gift for presenting a display of one of the suites in the Spring Summer Catalogue at a recent Team Event run by my Upline. These events are amazing. Lots of us get together and exchange ideas, show off our projects and craft together. They are great occasions to catch up with Team Members, be that Downline or ‘sister’ Demonstrators.

I have not had much of a chance to play with these Embossing Powders, but you will have seen the Blueberry Bushel feature in yesterday’s post. Today I thought I would share an Easter Card I have made using the Bloom By Bloom stamp set and matching punches. The idea for the card came from the Seasonal Wreath Embossing Folder from the Annual Catalogue – you remember that? The Amazing Catalogue we all forget about.

I embossed on Vellum Card stock to get a subtle background for the card (running it back and forth a couple of times helps make this wreath more defined). On the first card I then heat embosses in White the word ‘Easter’ from the More Than Words Sale-a-Bration Coordination Stamp Set. This is a great set as it covers so many occasions in a great selection of fonts. I heat embossed lots of the small flowers from the Bloom By Bloom stamp set, some in White, some in Pineapple Punch. Punched them out with the mini punches and then adhered them with Multi Purpose Liquid Adhesive. The Take Your Pick Tool is perfect for picking up these little pieces of vellum.

Because there are so many heat embossed flowers on the wreath, it is easy to add some Snail Adhesive behind without the risk of it showing. Add the vellum to a layer of Crumb Cake, then add some matching Pineapple Punch Ribbon and you are pretty much done.

The final touch was to mount the whole piece onto a Whisper White card base using Dimensionals. Pretty, simple, cute. BUT do remember to do the heat embossing for your sentiment BEFORE you start adding the punched out flowers. Trust me, it is never going to work the other way around. This is the only reason the Grapefruit Grove version does not have a sentiment. Mind you, I think it works fine without. What do you think?
