Sheltering Tree Through the Seasons. I think we sometimes forget that there is an Annual Catalogue with all the excitement of Christmas, then Sale-a-Bration. But guess what, it is still there and it is still current and FULL of wonderful products that you can buy. I am sorry to say that so far I have only inked up ONE of the stamps, and it wasn’t the tree! But as the weather is trying to be wintery I decided that I would make a card with Cherry Blossom on it. Five stamps and just three inks and it was done. I added some sequins with the help of the Take Your Pick Tool, and the card was done. How quick and easy is that?!And then it started to snow, so I made a second card with a winter theme. Bare trees and snow were the order of the day. I added the swing just so it was obvious that there was a strong breeze (AKA it was very windy!) The colours may be seen as a slightly odd chose, but I was trying to get across the heavy feel of the weather, so chose to use Basic Gray and Gray Granite with Crumb Cake for the swing. I think it gets that heavy feeling over well. The sequins lift it a little, but not too much.I would love to hear about projects you have made using older stamp sets.
