Wink of Stella Top Tip Tuesday.Are you as in love with the Wink of Stella as I am? I love that it is so easy to add a little bit of extra bling to a project without fuss or fiddle. I used it on my #simplestamping project on Saturday to great effect (she says modestly!) It is such a handy little pen to have, you can carry it with you without the worry of needing water or a brush. It is all contained in the one little pen!

So what on earth can my Top Tip be? Well I have 2 for you. The first is how to set it up in the first place. It will come with instructions, but it is always easier to see it actually being done, right! The second tip I have almost given the game away already. It is water based and that is the key. I mean, eventually it will run out, it will take a while, but it will run out. So what do you do when it runs out and you need to wait to get your new one? Well this is where my tip comes in. You can add a little water to the barrel and extend its life just a little. I certainly would not add too much water, but a few drops will extend the life of your Wink of Stella just enough.

How do you do it? Well, if you watch my video, above, you will see not only how to set your Wink of Stella up, but also how to remove the barrel and add some water. Once you have added the water make sure you put the pen back together properly and then give the pen a good shake! You are then good to go for a little while longer, just long enough for your new order to arrive! Oh, and just look at the really short supply list!!
