Time for The Christmas Party to Start! It is Inspire Create Challenge Time again and this time we have a Theme Challenge of ‘Party’. The Design Team have come up with some great projects on that theme. Mine is definitely a Christmas Party Theme and, trust me, is not a difficult to make as I seem to make it look in the video. Seriously, the video this time is close to ‘train wreck TV’. If you would like a laugh, please take a look. I can almost hear you shouting at the YouTube screen saying ‘No, not there! Don’t do it!!!’ The final card is a fold flat box card, and in spite of the video, I do love it.
I have managed to work out the measurements in both Imperial and Metric, but I have used International A4 card, and you do need that extra height. That said, this is a great project for using up scraps of both patterned paper and foil or glimmer card. If you keep all the decorations that overhang the box card itself, to the right, then when you flatten the box you will be able to get it into a 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ envelope, or make one yourself from left over patterned paper.
At the time of writing this post, the paper is still available, fingers crossed it still is. Even better, it is on discount, and we all love a bargain. The dies (and matching stamps) are carrying over to the New Year, so if you want the whole set, you can still get them at the Bundle Price until 3rd January 2019.
