Simple Stamping Saturday – Part 2. Did you catch the first of my Simple Stampin series last week? If not, you may want to take a look at it ‘Welcome to Simple Stamping Saturday!’. The idea behind this series is to show new paper crafters that they can make fantastic projects with just a few supplies. I also show how to take that project and ‘step it up’ a little by adding more products or techniques, or both. My hope is that this will show that you can grow your paper craft stash over the months, and not end up with items you will not use again.

I think if you are going to spend your funds on product, it should be high quality product that will grow with you. As the old saying goes ‘Buy cheep, buy twice’. I know that you could go to one of the craft chains and buy similar products for less, but will they last? Will the projects you make be something you are proud of, or will the lower quality product discourage you from trying again?

Today’s #simplestamping project uses the Spirited  Snowmen stamp set that is retiring from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue. When I was writing this post, the stamp set was still available, but once it is gone……… I have added a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad, Watercolour Pencils and Whisper White Notecards. All of these products will be things you can use time and time again, the ink pad can even be re-inked (yes, you can get that from me).

I have only listed the items required for the Simple Stamping Project below. The additional items I used for the other two versions were Frosted Florals Specialty DSP #147800, Mint Macaron Card Stock #138344 and a selection of Stampin’ Blends of your choice.
