OnStage Swaps to Share – So Many, So Little Time! First things first. I was convinced that I had already written this post, but here I am on the day that it was meant to publish, busy writing it up! There is no real excuse, other than I am still a bit post-flu. I had a few days in bed last week and am a lot better. But, I am still very tired, and clearly a bit muddled!
If you followed my posts while I was a OnStage, you will remember that I took part in 2 types of Swap. The first was a General Swap which took place over the three days. All I needed to do was find other Demonstrators who wanted to swap, and then just swap. The other was an organised Swap at an evening event organised by my Up-line, Michelle Last, and two other Global Leaders, Brian King and Louise Sharp. What I am showing you today is a mix of swaps from both events.
Now, I accept that things happen in subtly different ways in different parts of the world. That said, having had a chance to look at the swaps I brought home, I have a few thoughts. What I find VERY disappointing in many of the swaps is that I have no idea who made them. In the UK and Europe, we add our contact details to our swaps. I expected this to be different in the USA, having been told that actually sticking them to the swap was not encouraged. What I did expect is for there to be some identification in the cello bag, but the VAST majority had none.
This makes me really quite sad. Why? Because I always acknowledge where I get an idea from (if it is not original). I now have over 100 swaps that are beautiful, but I am not able to share just because they have no contact details on them. So what I share today are those that DO have contact details. I hope you enjoy looking at them.
