September Thank You Cards. A favourite time for me is designing and making the Thank You Card and Gift I send to EVERY customer who places an online order with me each month. This month I am featuring the Country Lane Suite from the Autumn Winter Catalogue. I love this suite. It is great for so many occasions, but is just perfect for Thank You projects. You will find the Country Lane Suite on page 42 of the Autumn Winter Catalogue.

The card uses one of my favourite techniques. Part fussy cutting, part punching. It is a great technique to have in your arsenal as it extends your punches beyond the usual. You can get the same result with dies, but I find punches are best for this. In this case I used the 2″ Circle Punch and the Starburst Punch, so really quick to do. The Starburst element was punched from the mat, so is also a great stash saver! Don’t you love that Chicken Wire? Such a great way to add a little ‘bling’. Add the Galvanised Clip and Braided Linen Trim and you have a really cute little project all set off by the Country Lane Paper.

I have been a great fan of using alcohol markers for so many years, so was thrilled when Stampin’ Up! brought these back and they have added even more in the Autumn Winter Catalogue.
