Memento Tuxedo Black Ink from Stampin’ Up! – How To

Memento Tuxedo Black Ink from Stampin’ Up! – How To. Did you enjoy the information I shared on the Classic Stampin’ Pad? Was it useful? I do hope so. Today I am looking at the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.

Memento Ink

The Memento is a very useful and easy to use ink pad. Stampin’ Up! carries the Tuxedo Black as a good everyday black ink pad. It is great for sentiments and outline stamping when you want a basic all round black ink.

Memento Ink is fade resisted, water based and fast drying, as well as acid free. It has a very firm fabric pad, so you can be a little firmer with it than the Classic Pad. I tend to twist it and then tap it to get the best coverage. It stamps well on uncoated papers, as well as coated and textured papers, it is not good for slick surfaces, such as Glossy Card or Window Sheet. Once dry it is water resistant. It is fantastic when used with Stampin’ Blends, but do make sure the stamped image is fully dry first.

Like the Classic Pads, there is an ink refill for your Memento Ink pad too, so don’t forget to order it alongside your Memento Ink Pad.

Clean up is easy. Either the Simply Shammy or the Stampin’ Scrub will do a fantastic job for you. The Simple Shammy will get stained with the black ink, but it is a great choice for cleaning your stamps.

Please feel free to ask me any questions about the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I will be happy to help. I am going to cover other types of ink in the coming weeks, so come back for more.

There is still time to order the October Craft Box, perfect if you would like to sample some Stampin’ Up! products. Orders MUST be paid for by 10th October 2018 (cheques must be received by 8th October 2018 to allow for banking). To see what you get for only £20 delivered, take a look here:
