Joyous Noel Candle Foursome for Inspire.Create.Challenge. Yes, it is that time again, and this time the Theme is ‘Thankful’. There are so many reasons to be Thankful and so many ways to say ‘Thank You’. I thought it would be fun to make a little gift that you could give to anyone you are Thankful for. A little box of Ikea Tealights. I like using Ikea items as they are available in many countries, so easy for you all to replicate.
I made two versions of the box, one in cardstock with a vellum insert and one in Designer Series Paper. Specifically the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper. This is a little thicker than most of our papers, and is great for small 3D projects. As the Paper is lighter than the cardstock I did not run the risk of inserting the Vellum this time, so will only give you the details of the project I made on camera, although the only additional item is the vellum. Oh, other than the square layering dies of course!
I think this project will go really nicely with the Dashing Deer card I made last week. It has many of the same products and they are both going for that Copper and Merry Merlot look. Have I said just how much I LOVE the reversible ribbon. It is truly amazing, so easy to tie a really pretty bow with the same side showing if that is what you want. Watch my video to see how I do that; it is really easy!
Please hop over to the Inspire Create Challenge site to see all the other projects, they really are a fantastic selection. Well worth a look!
